If you want to be in the middle of everything, cabin #8 is the place for you! Arranged much like cabin #3, cabin #8 has two private bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed in each. In between the two bedrooms are the private bathroom, the kitchen and dining area, and the living room with a futon sofa and television. This 528 square foot cabin is a great choice for four friends, two couples, or a family with older children needing a little more space.
Cabin #8 sits next to one-bedroom cabins #6 and #7 which can be used as extra bedrooms for larger groups of family and friends. The grassy yard these three cabins share creates the perfect place for making memories together around the charcoal grills and picnic table in full view of the river.
Pets are permitted in cabin #8 with an additional charge of $20 per pet per night. Please see our pet policy for further details.
If you reserve services from us, those resources are reserved just for you. We cannot refund your deposit and may have to add additional fees if you cancel, postpone, or significantly change your reservation after the following timeframes:

Your cabin will be ready for check-in after 3 p.m. on your arrival date. If you want to arrive before 3 p.m., call us to see if your cabin will be available at an earlier time. We need you to be checked out of your cabin by 11 a.m. on your departure day, although you are welcome to stay and fish after checking out of your cabin. If you want to leave before we open the office in the morning, please check out with us the afternoon before your departure.
Cabin rates are dependent on the number of people in the cabin who are age six and over; children ages five and under do not count toward the occupancy limits or the rates. Each cabin has a maximum occupancy; we cannot allow overcrowding.
A two-night minimum stay is expected at all times. A three-night minimum stay is expected for the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends as well as Independence Day weekend (when applicable). Requests for one-night reservations will be considered around the scheduling of other reservations but will not typically be accepted during our busier seasons.
To best accommodate the needs of all of our guests, we welcome pets in some but not all of our cabins. Cabins #6, #7, #8, #9, and #10 are pet-friendly. Bringing a pet to one of these permitted cabins costs $20 per pet per night. Pets are not allowed on the cabin furniture or bedding; bring their own bedding and food bowls with you. Keep pets on a leash at all times when they are outside and do not leave them alone in the cabin. Any damage from pets will be charged to your account. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a pet.
You may smoke outside on the porch of your cabin. Please use the ashtrays and cigarette cans conveniently placed on the porches. In consideration of our other guests, smoking is not permitted inside any of our cabins.
Many people have commented about how peaceful it is here. In consideration of all of our guests, quiet hours are enforced. Between the hours of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., keep any noise to a normal speaking volume to prevent disturbing other guests.
Guests are responsible for the appropriate usage of all facilities as well as any damage beyond normal wear that is inflicted on the cabins, grounds, buildings, boats, or boat motors. Please notify us if damage occurs so that we may work with you to correct the issue.
After departing, if you find you are missing something of value, please call as soon as possible to see if it has been found and to identify the item.
